Complete out-of-the box integration is provided for Autonomy Worksite, Opentext DM and Docs Open, Worldox, NetDocuments, and Sharepoint and supports saving PDF content as a new document, new version of a document, or related document (where available in the document management system).
Users can import documents directly from the firm's document management system into pdfDocs - just as easily as opening a new Word document. Users also have pdfDocs functions embedded directly in the document management "right-click" context menu system for even easier access to pdfDocs functions.
Scan Capture and Routing with Omtool
Many pdfDocs customers use Omtool's Accuroute product to capture and manage scanned documents. When users need to review and quality-assure new scans, they can use Accuroute to send scan jobs to a pdfDocs Watchfolder. pdfDocs will then automatically import the scan into pdfDocs where pages can be rotated, deleted, or re-arranged as needed. Users can also apply headers or footers and then can save directly into the firm's document management system.
Metadata Cleaning with Payne Consulting's Metadata Assistant
Payne Consulting are developers of best-in-class Metadata Assistant, used to remove metadata from MS Word documents. Metadata Assistant also can convert outbound Word documents to PDF format. pdfDocs users may elect to use the pdfDocs converter for this step, and can then integrate pdfDocs document security or watermarking as needed.
